Well I picked up my first box of Tresiba this afternoon. As I was on about 60 Lantus per day, split morning and evening, my nurse suggested I start on 50 Tresiba and adjust every 3 days. To be honest this amount does scare me a bit. Does seem a lot? Other people in the forum seem to start with...

Just got back from seeing my diabetic nurse who is now trying to authorise Tresiba for me. I was on 45 Lantus for many years and switched recently to 30 Lantus AM and 30 Lantus PM, but it's just not working for me. Despite low carb diet my numbers just rise and fall all day. I'm hoping for good...
