    Interesting thread. Quite nice to see how low over people can get! My personal low is 2.1. This thread is especially helpful to those like me who have only been recently diagnosed.

    Hi mate, also just been diagnosed, well 1 month ago. Already things are picking up for me. My sugar levels were constantly around the 18-20 mark for the first week, but now they are usually in range apart from the odd hypo here and there. Good luck with it all.

    I haven't noticed any drastic changes in my sugar levels, but sometimes when I inject the lantus into my stomach, it can really hurt, and feel like I'm being pinched quite hard for about ten minutes. Rather annoying!
