    Carb free snacks

    Yes, zucchini, or rather marrow. Remove the skin, cut the marrow into chip size bits, dip in things like crushed chilis, or pepper, or mexican powder etc and then deep fry them. You can leave them to cool. Another is proper Chinese prawn crackers, although, they do have some carb content.

    hanadr is absolutely correct, metformin will not be a player in this instance. Short story, when I was with BFG in Germany the guys were told not to drink too much, many came out of the bars thinking they were OK and walked about 10 paces and collapsed. You have to aware of what you are drinking!
