Yes i have tried this and found that when i adjust my basal it affects my bolus. Etc for me, if i inject 3 units lantus i need to inject 2 unit novorapid for 25g carbs. If i inject 6 units lantus i inject 1 unit novorapid for 25g carbs to get similar blood glucose readings.

yes, i realised that i was very confused on reading nutritional information on food labels as there was Carbs followed by Sugars and then Fibre, now i realise that i just have to ignore the Fibre and Sugars and just use Carbs as the figure. :)

I eat 3 a day so 21 eggs a week !

I eat around 100g carb a day, i do 20g each main meal and 3 snacks less than 10g each + 10g for coffee. I inject 1-2 unit novorapid for main meals and none for snacks n coffee as my basal lantus takes care of it. I avoid all cereals, most fruit and eat minimal amounts of starchy veg eg potatoes...
