Type 1 Omnipod [emoji6[emoji640][emoji637]] searching for a sensor

Good Morning The only time I have experienced this is when I was trying give my arms a rest. As the sensor has to go on my arm I tried placing my pod on my tummy or back. They did not seem able to connect when I did that and I had to relocate my pod. I suppose line of sight was not being...

    Type 1 Dexcom v Libre

Hi I probably waited about 1 year to start on a pump. I think waiting times are a lot longer now. I started on Omnipod Dash in February 2021 and moved to Omnipod 5 in February this year . I agree technology when it works is of great benefit to managing diabetes.

    omnipod 5

Good morning Sam. I am also an Omnipod 5 user. I am based in UK. It would be great if the controller was on your phone. For me in particular overnight I cannot hear the alarms on the pdm. It has taken up to 14 notifications for me to hear the alarm. I wear hearing aids which I remove at...

Any general advice on HCL models?

Hi Hitch52 I am an Omnipod 5 user. I have not needed to use any additional tape. I use skin tac to keep my Libre 2+ attached. I did use skin tac to fix Omnipod but found it made changing the pod after 3 days challenging. Good luck with Omnipod when you get started

Hi andy2010 I used a Medtronic pump some time ago but due to problems with set changes I moved to Omnipod Dash. I then moved to Omnipod 5 in February this year. Morning Buffy123 I am Libre 2+ user and have had quite a few faulty sensors. I get mine on prescription. I would make contact with Abbott and they should supply you with a replacement sensor.
