Hi, I have osteoporosis of the knees and experiencing pain can anyone recommend the best painkiller that isn’t going to affect liver and kidney function as I’ve heard some can cause issues for diabetics I’m type 2,14 years.

Appreciate all advice given will mention reading from cgm to consultant I’ve been only trying cgm as a free trial fingers get sore testing numerous times a day I don’t know if I can get cgm on prescription as I’m type [emoji638] but I find it was useful to see the graph of my bg throughout the day.

The worry is I don’t recognise I’m low .

I have been trying a cgm monitor it alerted me to low blood sugar 3.7 I wasn’t aware that it was low didn’t detect any symptoms of low blood sugar it has happened a few times since I don’t realise it’s going low is this a concern should I mention this to my consultant when I see her later this month

type 2 for 2years on metformin blood sugar usually 7/ 7.5 i have a heavy cold.blood sugar 11.2 this morning does having a cold put up blood sugar.

diagnosed 2years ago type2 on metformin blood today 8.2 practice nurse says cut down on fruit in my lunch why? assumed fruit was ok. ps dont blood test nurse says no need for type2 wont suply meter and test strips.

Type 2 diabetic for a year practice nurse won't give testing machines out so don't blood test ,recently when doing manual work felt clammy and light headed could this be low blood sugar ?
