    Tramadol feedback please

I took tramadol following an operation. I was on it for around 5 weeks and suffered dreadful side effects when I came off them. I was anxious, couldn’t sleep, crying all the time, feeling sick. The GP said it was withdrawal. I didn’t taper them off just stopped after 8 a day! Side effects...

Looking to speak to someone with a Libre CGM

I use them about once every 2 months. This last time I also used the mobile app, which i prefer to the reader Abbott supply as I feel it gives more detail. I’ve had 1 fall off after 2 hours (Abbott replaced free of charge) and 1 fall off after 7 days ( also replaced free of charge. I’ve...

    GP's, why can't I get an appointment ?

I’ve just booked a routine appointment with the diabetes GP for 11th June. Never seen him before but the DN couldn’t answer one of my questions and suggested I see him. To be fair I’m away next week for 2 weeks so the appointment was at my convenience. Not sure he had any earlier ones, although...

    supermarket food

Batch cooking. If I make chilli or casserole or meatloaf, I make enough for several meals and freeze. That way I get the convenience of a ready cooked meal when I need it. I also make a chicken thigh dish with leeks and mushrooms and make enough for 2 meals. I also buy some ready prepared cuts...

Fgl Taken From Bed Vs Moving A Bit

Mine rises once a move around. If I scan my Libre just as I wake up it will be lower, but as I get up, dressed etc, it can rise 1-2mmol before settling back down over the next 30-60 minutes. I am insulin resistant (PCOS and type 2) so I always have the dawn phenomenon

I think my drs dread me as I go in with notes and always knows what I want. will diabetes type 2 worsen

Through use of a libre monitor and finger prick testing, I’ve learnt I do not tolerate wheat at all. I can (although rarely do, it was part of testing to see what spiked my bg), ice cream, cake, chocolate with little effect, although I only had small amounts. Anything wheat based sees me spike...

    Goodbye

I can’t remember what the urologist said now other than the stone was made of oxalates, but I’m sure he mentioned it because it prompted me to Look up foods containing high levels of oxalates and I reduced these for a while, but do eat more of them now but I have to say I don’t eat almonds. I...

    Goodbye

Almonds are the worst. 2 years ago I had a 1.5cm stone removed by laser. I never want to go through that again. It took the surgeon over 2 hours to remove all the fragments after he blasted it with the laser and I had kidney pain and bladder problems for over a year!
