Grate it with a cheese grater. Perfect alternative to rice. Tastes better I think. You can warm it up in a pan or microwave, but I don't bother.

Thanks H That's reassuring. In my case the cortisol isn't the main treatment - the saline is. The cortisol is just there for pain relief. What I'm wondering is if I can get away with having the saline with no cortisol in it. Glad your worked though.
