I've cut out nearly all carbs in a bid to gain control, but no matter what I eat my mmol/l is constantly high. It ranges from 7.6 to 18.0 my FBG is usually around 9.5 and upwards. What am I doing wrong? I'm on Metformin 3 times a day.
I tested this morning as soon as I woke up and it was 9.6. After two hours it had risen to 18.0 mmol/l. Only had a cuppa and 30g of cereal. So cereal gone out the window lol
One problem was it felt like it was just me and felt a bit lonely and frightened. Thanks to people like yourself I don't feel that way as much. That's a good thing.
Diagnosed T2 on Wednesday. Hba1c was 87 and cholesterol of 7.5. 3 Metformin 500g per day and statins. Any advice would be appreciated as haven't got a clue!
I was only diagnosed this past Wednesday and I was also diagnosed with Asthma an hour earlier, so my head is a little puddled at the moment. My hba1c was 87 and have been put on Metformin
