Hello everyone, I am new to the whole forum thing but I have been a type 1 diabetic for 14 years....not too well controlled but getting better with age :) I am currently 28 weeks pregnant and have to go to the hospital every week since finding out but all is well and good so far!! xxx

Hey, I have been on the pump now for 3 years and I have not had any problems in this area at all. I think if you just explain to people what it is then they in my experience are fine with it. Depending on what your comfortable with I tend to unclip mine before and then just reclip it back on...
