    I've download the "carbs and caps" app on my phone. Very recommended- it's so easy to use and works it all out for you. It's a cost of £5 but it's proved invaluable for me.

    Hi all, I was diagnosed recently as type 1 diabetic. My sugars have been very high but are coming down nicely down. Currently running at 10.5-13.5 Over the past couple of days my vision has gone blurry. I'll be fine one second and the next it's just a blur? Should I be worried? TIA x

    No she hasn't yet. I think it's because it's all new to me. I think we're just concentrating on getting my levels down a bit first to help me feel a little better. I've done some research into a high fat low carb diet and tried it for breakfast and lunch today... didn't see a huge improvement...

    Thanks everyone! Ketones we're at +++ but just tested and they are + Just tested sugars and I'm at 25.1. I really hate hospitals but will keep an eye out for symptoms and go if necessary. I'm feeling ok at the moment just very thirsty and tired. I have family around me to keep an eye out.
