    Metformin Slow Release 2 or 3?

    I have been taking Metformin Slow Release 500g for about four months. The last time I went for my prescription the pharmacy asked why I was taking three a day. She said I should only need two a day as they are Slow Release. She doesn't know me so is she correct in what she is saying? Regards Tony
