    He was only diagnosed in December last year and is only 7. Although I do think it would make a difference while at school. His school are not dealing with his correction rates properly.

    my brother is type 1

    My younger brother was diagnosed type 1 back in Dec 2011. He is only 7. I find it really hard, I'm struggling to cope with it, I can't imagine how he feels. :( I would like to meet other people in my situation. I am 9yrs old. :problem:

    Carb counting

    Thanks to everyone who has been helping me on this, just to let you know we are no longer carb counting. My sons DN and I both think he is too young to be doing this at this time. He is only 7 and was only diagnosed last December. :D
