Keeping a freestyle libre sensor attached

That's true, I hadn't thought of that. Because I've only just switched I've still got my old meter and I can check any readings that don't make sense.

Keeping a freestyle libre sensor attached

Thanks for all the advice! I'll keep these in mind in case the tape doesn't work. ☺️ Interestingly I mentioned this to Abbott about it peeling to see if they recommend anything to make it last longer. They've suggested just immediately replacing it with a new sensor which seems slightly...

Keeping a freestyle libre sensor attached

Yes it's on the back of my arm, it's where the nurse told me to put it last monday. I only thought it could go on the back of an arm, I don't think I'm brave enough to use a leg just yet! I was thinking about getting some sort of bandage and trying to wrap it up if it gets looser while I wait...

Keeping a freestyle libre sensor attached

I've heard about the tape and got some on order. It's more trying to keep the thing on for the next few days before it needs to be changed. Definitely going to follow your advice for the next sensor! Thank you!

Keeping a freestyle libre sensor attached

Hi! I'm brand new to using the libre sensor, still got the first one I've ever had attached to my arm. However, it is starting to peel a little on one side. Still very much attached at the moment! Just wondering if anyone has any advice for keeping it attached for the remaining 6 days and for...

Anybody else panic at the doctor's?

Might not adopt the naked strategy [emoji23] I hadn't thought of it from their perspective. I do understand their frustration of maybe not being able to help as much as they'd like, limited resources, lack of time etc.

Anybody else panic at the doctor's?

Back on pediatrics I used to see a consultant. Last time I brought this up to my Nurse she told me it wasn't necessary and everything could be manager through her. Btw this is the same nurse that told me I knew more than her. [emoji52]

Anybody else panic at the doctor's?

I can see one with a referral from a GP but it tends to be for a specific issue rather than ongoing management. Having said that I might try for a referral again.

Anybody else panic at the doctor's?

I feel like changing to a GP with more knowledge would be ideal, I'm stuck with where I am for the moment though. It is worrying when the person who is meant to be helping you has said that I know more about Diabetes than them..

Anybody else panic at the doctor's?

Hi all, A bit of a rant and I'm looking for advice. I know I am by no means perfect with my control but whenever I go to the doctors I feel like a child being told off. There's a complete lack of reality on their side and the doctors I go to have never offered a practical solution to improve my...
