    Dexcom G6

Clarity is also an iOS app so i can easily also check it right on your phone. That said, I find Sugarmate better (although I find the sugarmate Apple Watch calendar complication useless since it is overwritten by other events).

    Blood And Dexcom

I’m using the G6 and noticed a little blood under the adhesive. It does not look like it’s active bleeding - it’s almost like something under a bandaid. I just want to know whether this is relatively normal. Anyone have any thoughts?

    Freestyle Libre Or Dexcom G6?

I was using the Libre and switched to the G6. I’ve been using the G6 for about two weeks and for me the G6 is much better. Fortunately I can do a fair comparison since cost is not an issue since my insurance covers both 100%. The reasons I like the G6 more are simple: 1. I don’t have to take...

    Dexcom And Apple Watch

Thanks but I don’t think it’s available for iPhones or at least I don’t see it in the App Store in the US.

    Dexcom And Apple Watch

I have the G6 and am really happy with it. One of the things I really like about the Dexcom app is the ability to see readings on my Apple Watch. However, throughout the day there are many times that I have to click on the watch face complication in order to get a reading (I had to do that with...

    Dexcom G6 Location

I’ve been using it for the day and did one finger prick test and it was remarkably close. I’m probably not going to be doing many more finger prick tests though because the primary reason I went for the G6 is that it does not need to be calibrated. The other thing I will say is that the...

    Dexcom G6 Location

I'm going to be getting my G6 tomorrow and had a question. It says it's approved for the abdomen and upper buttocks. I'd like to try the upper buttocks, but I'm wondering whether that will make sleeping or sitting uncomfortable. Does anyone have any experience? Am I right that those are the only...

Getting hypo alerts with libre, blucon and xDrip+

Hi everyone. I've been reading through the thread, but couldn't find an answer to one question (apologies if it's in the thread and I overlooked). Anyway, I'm wondering what is the best way to connect the blucon to the sensor so that you can easily remove it for a shower, to put it on another...

    Freestyle libre iPhone app

Do you need a prescription for blucon? It looks like it will cost about $150/month. Is it covered by insurance?

    Freestyle libre iPhone app

I'm trying to test the app with Freestyle Libre, but I'm not able to get it to work. Do you need to have a blucon setup to make this work, or will it read the libre sensor without needing a blucon?

    What country are you in?

Libre & iOS compatibility almost here

Sure - rub it in to those who aren’t able to use the app yet haha! Looking forward to it being released in the US - hope it’s soon.

Thanks for the update. Did they give you a sense of the timing for any future releases?

    Freestyle libre iPhone app

As it turns out it won’t matter. I’m using a US version sensor and the UK app won’t work with that anyway.

    Freestyle libre iPhone app

Unfortunately I definitely didn't have an option - it said it was set automatically. Is there anyone else using the UK version that remembers there being an option for unit of measurement?
  17. R

    Freestyle libre iPhone app

Hmmm - Are you sure it asked the unit of measurement? I have the app and it doesn’t allow a change to the unit of measurement. It says “ Your glucose unit of measurement is automatically set based on your country. Your country is United Kingdom Your unit of measurement is mmol/L”. Any thoughts?
  18. R

    Freestyle libre iPhone app

The UK version didn’t. The app said that since this was the UK it would use the UK unit of measurement. There was no ability to change it. Which country do you have and is it in English?

    Freestyle libre iPhone app

Does anyone know if there are any English versions of the app in countries that monitor glucose via mg/dl and NOT mmol/L?

    Freestyle libre iPhone app

Has anyone found the LibreLink app for iOS in the US? I don't see it in the app store.
