Oh no! I am on day 7 of my pump and I know I need to make adjustments to my basal dose as I have been waking up higher than I would like! Had an unsettled, clingy baby this week so not had time to get my head round making adjustments yet [emoji15]

I have to bolus for eggs or I get a steady rise toooo

Hello old friends and new. I hope you are well! x I am back (again). Lil man is 4 months now, blood sugars are settling down and I have even managed to move house! So it has been a crazy few months to say the least... So after 20 years of MDI, I started on the Omnipod! Still feels odd.... x

Hello all! My beautiful boy arrived 3 weeks ago. Making the most of every moment with him. Diabetes has taken a backseat for now but I will be back soon hopefully as need to get a grip on it.

Congratulations! I was running high before I knew I was pregnant but quickly managed to get back in range. Like others have said, the quicker you see your team/ have a scan the better [emoji173]️ p.s I am almost 6 months and as awful as this sounds I am looking forward to relaxing my control...

Yes I have had lots out of range- it is impossible/difficult to stay in range 100% of the time! My control pre- pregnancy was probably better than it is now. Im in my second trimester and have had huge amounts of insulin resistance. So no matter how hard I was trying my body just needed more...

Im in my second trimester and my insulin needs have increased! I feel like a whale already but putting it down to the fact that snacking helps with the nausea [emoji85]

Hopefully they will get you in quickly! Can your nurse advise you whilst you are waiting to be seen? Mine gave me targets to aim for. Made it difficult as I had lots of lows and bad sickness which sent my levels all over the place.
