Is lantus also affecting my glucose levels shortly after I inject ? Should I lower my lunch dose or not ?

There's no need for me to stick with my regular hours. Just wanted to be sure that nothing bad will happen to me. Also, is it ok if I take a humalog shot at 13-14, and then I take my lantus at around 15 ? Thank you for all of your replies.
