Hi Diane, im on dapagliflozin and am suffering dizziness that can last for days, im also getting fast heartbeat as well. My GP says it's normal even though I've been taking them for several months. Some days are fine, and others are awful, especially with the dizziness which feels like im...

    HR and type 2

Thank you all for your replies. What has been happening with my HR is this. If I exercise, brisk walking up hills, mountain biking, etc, my HR is 95-110. When I stop and rest my HR goes high to 130-145, it feels like my heart is catching up. When im sitting/relaxing at home, my HR is between...

    Silly question.

Thank you. Yes I have cut back on the carbs and improved my overall diet. When I stick with this I am great. When I go back to old eating habits I get full very quickly. I do feel that the huge meals are a thing if the past.

I feel full up very quickly and cannot finish the meal, especially if I have a takeaway treat with...

Hi all, It's been 4 months since I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. It's been an up and down ride since my diagnosis. I was originally prescribed metformin standard release, they did not agree with me and neither did the slow release. I didn't want to take any medication and wanted to reduce...

    Metformin

I don't fully understand the workings of metformin. I'm still a newbie and I may be doing wrong by stopping them but will see what the doctor says next week. My BG are under control providing I eat correctly. My theory is, eat the correct foods, exercise, lose weight = good BG control. I also...
