    Was that reading high even immediately after the coffee with sugar in? im not too worried as such, it is what it is. having had ot during my pregnancy I know what to expect at least, but unfortunately this time there'll be no cakes after the baby's born!!

    I forgot to mention in my initial post.. I have a friend who is diabetic and when I was round there I tested my blood ...It was 8.9 after 2 hours after eating banana and tangerine and immediately after a coffee with one sugar.
