FREE Diabetes Booklets for Parents and Schools

Hello, Could you please share the updated contact details? I would like to get these copies and share them at our school (it will probably be not so soon, but still). Does anyone have a pdf copy of the School Advisory Toolkit for Families by JDRF?

    help with school project

Hi, Would be interesting to see the results of your school project. My son is currently doing his research project too and I would appreciate any help. Particularly: activities and/or games that can help make injections/tests less stressful for kids. I'm also looking for a pdf copy of the book...

Hi Luke, Hope you're doing well. It would be interesting to know the results of your project. Does your app have an import/export feature of the measurements? My elder son is a member of our school STEM club and I would gladly share our experience with AI projects too. His last project was a...

University of Copenhagen - online training on Diabetes available on Coursera

Hello and thank you for sharing the resources. I have also found 3 other courses on Udemy and ADCES (the latter are paid). The DiabetesEducator website offers live courses and webinars too. I have sent an official request to join their volunteering community of parents of children with Type 1.

But one...

    Dexcom At School

My son has 22 students in his class (4 with T1). 2 of the boys wear spi-belts (for iPhones and receivers), so I thought maybe we should try that too. I'm also worrying because he will be working with a new nurse next year, when he starts his 2d grade (they have to share a nurse between 2 schools...

    Dexcom At School

Hi, one of the nurses at our private school suggested Dexcom G6 CGM System School Nurse Guide and Sample 504 Plan for Students with Diabetes Using CGM. The parents community still has to decide on it. We have a meeting in 2 days, so I will be able to comment more on this later.

    Holiday insurance

The first question should be about the length of the insurance: whether you need a yearly strategy or coincidental cover for a particular period. It's implied that in case you're wanting to be away more than twice, a yearly or multi-trip approach as a rule works out less expensive generally...

    Pregnant! And My Heads Messed!!

Congratulations! I know those feelings. But it will be totally fine. My hubby supported me when I was pregnant, but actually it was pretty much the same, even with all his attention. I'm an emotional type too.

    Learning

Hi Ruby, Love it too! My husband actually talked me into joining it, though I'm not a very talkative person, mostly I like to read and learn something for myself. Nice to meet you :)
