3 injections in and there is nothing to them :) I don't even feel them at all. First one was last night which is a slow release that one stung a tiny bit after but all the rest have been fine :)

Ah so update I have to start insulin tomorrow. Feeling abit disheartened as iv been trying so hard, eating well, walking more and I even lost 2lb, but still have to start insulin at only (from this saturday) 11 weeks pregnant :(

The idea of all the glucose testing plus insulin injections plus the fragmin injections from 28 weeks makes me feel abit overwhelmed if I'm honest. I'm sure it won't be too bad, it's just scary :)

I'm already on metformin I take 2 tablets in the morning and 2 of a evening. They are taking about giving me insulin at some point aswell but obviously I would prefer to try and go as long as possible not needing to have insulin aswell as the metformin. I feel alot more confident with the...

I'm type 2 only diagnosed 2 years ago. I'm waiting on my new hba1c but I'm waking up normally around a 6. Today was 5.9 a hour after 2 slices of toast this morning I was 9.1 I think I might be panicking more then I should be but I don't want to be causing any risks

So had my first appointment with diabetic midwife yesterday and I'm so worried about the levels they want me at. They seem stupidly low. Before meals .... <5.3 1 hour after meals... <7.8 2 hours after meals... <6.4 They said they are really strict on those numbers aswell. Am I just worried...

All went well at scan healthy little jelly bean growing

I have a scan today and I'm really nervous. We have been trying so long for a baby and today is the day I get to see if we have a little heart beat in there growing healthy. If had abit of pain lately so just worrying I think.

Yes they count the 2 weeks. But those dates could also change when I had my little boy I was put 2 days back but then at another scan it changed and I was back to normal dates.

Hope all goes well at scan for you hun. I cant wait to see my little jelly bean. Hopefully won't be too long

I will talk with my midwife when I meet her. Maybe cos it's been Christmas I haven't been seen sooner. My gp was useless didn't do a thing

I keep thinking I want the sickness to know all is ok. Did your midwife put you forward for the scan? I don't meet my midwife until 8th Jan

Do i have to self refer to diabetic antenatal clinic or will my midwife do that?

Nope I had to refer myself to midwife as GP was useless. Which was just before Christmas she arranged a GTT for me for next week then first time I see midwife is on the 8th. Which I will be 8weeks and 2 days I think

I might ask my midwife then when I see her. I just keep worrying as if had a rough time with pregnancies iv miscarried and also have a son who was over 12lb at birth aswell
