    Well i’m confused as to what to do next? keep monitoring my BS? or is it not worth it until my thyroid levels re adjust to the new reductions of my medication?

    No sorry don’t have them today but can get them on monday. The GP never put the too things together though like i have and can’t understand why? All he said was my body had to much thyroxine in it and i needed to reduce my medication as this is what was making me feel ill

    Yes i told him of my weight loss and that i am low carb. So not sure what else i have to do to get the levels down? he said he isn’t going to test me again for another 6 months.

    Hi folks Just had my results from the GP and he said my Hba1c level was 6.4% he said i’m pre diabetic? and i need to make changes to my life style. i’ve lost 3 stone in the past year on LCHF diet and my cholesterol is normal. I’m confused as to what else i have to do???

    Unfortunately my worry is i have been LCHF for the past year and have lost 2 stone in weight which i think is good? However not been feeling to good and recent finger fasting results have been raised 7.1 and one day 9.2

    When you say action do you mean go to the GP? As i’ve just had a HbA1c test this morning and will get the results in a couple of days. I was just wondering as for the last couple of days my finger prick fasting has been 7.1

    Sorry to be a pain but why does everyone including hospitals use the finger prick tests if they are not reliable and could be giving false readings? i’m very confused?

    Morning All I’ve just done a waking BS test and it’s higher today at 7.1 The Gp yesterday said that anything up to 7.0 is normal but i thought that was for diabetics not normal people??
