    Hi everyone.I've just had a letter with the results of my eye test for this year and it's saying I have background retinopathy.that's 2 years in a row now I've had this.but no one has explained what it even means.should I be worried??

    thyroidectomy and diabetes

    I'm due to have a total thyroidectomy in November.I'm also type 1 diabetic.I have a large goiter due to my over active thyroid.I'm very worried about the whole thing and wondering if there's anyone who has had this op.and their experience.
