https://webliwell.com/products/tt22?_pos=10&_sid=a7c35f0d4&_ss=r&variant=51712889782545 Says it is backed by diabetes uk and MHRA, I didn’t want to take mounjaro as it’s bad enough we inject every day, don’t want another thing adding. So I saw this today and thought, hmmm I could go for an...

For the type 1s only please (mounjaro)

Thank you for your reply, Lows are my only main concern, I’ve decided to drop down to 5 units of tresiba to let that kick in as I start mounjaro on Sunday. I do walk at around 2 hours a day so don’t want to any hypo’s on the walks. Not going to lie diarrhoea would be a blessing for me [emoji23]

Hi thank you for the response, did you reduce your insulin right away yourself? I’m just debating if to reduce my tresiba to 5 units in a morning instead of 5.5. Then just take it careful with my nova rapid. Thanks

For the type 1s only please (mounjaro)

I have addressed every issue regarding weight, they are telling me it’s not insulin, for someone who eats very little, 3 meals a day mainly yogurt, 2 slices of toast, and on a good day maybe a roast dinner. The dietitian’s have nothing to say to me, again saying it’s not insulin that causes...

Hi guys, My endo has just prescribed me mounjaro and I was wondering if any type 1s on here take this and how you have got on, low bloods? Weight loss? Side effects, I know everyone will be different, I’m just wanting to know if we can manage while on insulin. Thank you ❤️

solution night lows & day highs basal

I’m the same, if I take 6 units I hypo through the day, I take 5.5 and I’m steady away day and night. It’s worth trying and don’t forget, tresiba takes roughly around 4-5 days after changing the dose to see how it’s working, I usually give myself 10 days to see if it’s working for me or not...

I don’t know if I have an eating disorder, I just can think of nothing worse than getting a meal and it be anymore than 5 units of insulin. if I go out for food I order things that will be 5 units and under, I’m on 1 unit nova rapid to 10g carbs. I would never not take my insulin, definitely...

Haha! Don’t think eating will be a problem for me, I’m a bit OCD, I love breakfast and would rather have a big one of those and can take or leave eating rest of day, doesn’t matter how tempting something is I can never be bothered to take insulin so would rather miss the good stuff just so I...

Thank you everyone for the replies, really helpful info and yes I’m really excited, I’m more nervous about the time change, think they are 4 hours behind and I take tresiba every morning. Do I need to not take it the morning we fly and take it when I get there to stay in their time zone? I will...

Fear of going low and struggling to put weight on

I feel you so much when I read this.. I had the same problem and I’m sure it’s more common than we think, my first suggestion is have you done the Dafne course, if not I would highly recommend doing it. It’s a big eye opener and helped me a lot. I suffer with eating the same things everyday and...

    Is it or isn’t it?

Low carb and metformin, I stopped low carbing and bloods started to go high, so the doctor put me on jardiance, I low carbed again (stupid when I’m on jardiance) my blood sugars were always around 6s day and night, then I felt unwell, the most unwell I’ve ever felt, my bloods were still in 6s so...

    Is it or isn’t it?

It was only because I went into dka with normal blood sugars, that’s only why they tested me.
