Hi, yes I’ve been on metformin for 2 years and can honestly say it hasn’t suppressed my appetite at all. I’m due my annual check next month so will raise it with the nurse and see if the doctor can prescribe something; I just thought I’d ask here to see if it is done.

I have tried losing weight through slimming clubs, NHS diets and low carb (that didn’t last long at all) and have had limited success but I always feel hungry. I’m on 1000mg Metformin twice a day, can I safely take appetite suppressants to stop me feeling hungry?
