    Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

    5.7 yesterday and 5.5 today, but I think I’ve got a cold - sore throat and blocked nose so I guess that’s not helping!

    Felt dread this morning. Last night I had rice, crisps, cheesecake because it was date night and I had no self control. This morning, 5.2!!! I’m impatient for my HBa1c now, hopefully they can give me some good news...

    6.4. I usually come in low 5s, but I did have a naught ice cream at about 10pm, 45 minutes before bed so I guess this has made it leap up.

    Hello all, I was diagnosed mid January following an Hba1c of 68 in December and then 54 start of January and immediately put onto Metformin. My nurse wanted me to go to 2000mg but I'm taking 1500mgs as any more just gives me constant tummy issues - nurse says thats fine and "It's your diabetes...
