Is it normal to have side effects from Eye screening? I am due for my first Eye screen tomorrow but ketones ++ and blood sugars From 16-20 mmol yesterday is enough for me to be troubled by at the moment! Also not keen to go to hospital when blood and urine tests so Bad.

My biggest immediate question is what do I eat? Do I eat to maintain my health and weight, while also increasing my glucose? I don’t think I can afford not to eat, but just to make good choices. This is all a little overwhelming. Many thanks for your help and support at this time.
