    Menstrual cycle

My period is becoming a nightmare for me. Aside from the fact that as I age PMS is becoming worse, so is my diabetes control the week before. Historically my blood glucose has gone up or down a wee bit the week before but recently my insulin resistance the week before is off the charts. I've...

Dr Sarah Jarvis on Jeremy Vine Show today

I've had diabetes my whole life and other than diabetes specialists and people with diabetes themselves I have found most people in the medical profession have had a very limited understanding of the condition - I think text books often fail to include a lot of factors.

Self isolation for 12 weeks ?????

Hi all - I've been t1 for 29 yrs and have some complications and other auto immune conditions. Though the govt is advising and companies are going by govt guidelines I work in care and those guidelines are very difficult to follow (ie. Social distancing - it's not really possible.) So I have...

Target reductions for people with complications

Hi all - quick intro. I have had type 1 now for 29 years and for a good number of years my diabetes was badly controlled. As a result I have some complications. My control has been much more stable over the last 10 years and thus my complications have been stable - however my diabetes is still...
