7 is relatively normal normal sugars are between 4 and 7 I'd be more worried if you were like 8 9 10 plus

I allow myself about 30 mins with Novorapid. I'll go hypo if I don't eat within that time.

Congrats on your six month anniversary! My only advise is in respect of insulin I take Novorapid and Levirmir too. Honestly I inject anywhere and everywhere. If someone wants to watch whilst I do it well that's their issue. You owe no explanations to anyone!

I agree... Even if you have to change the ratios through the day... Something with say 70g of carbs in 70/6...11 units. Just example figures fyi or something with 40g in 40/6... 6 units ect ect.. It actually is very very easy..

That is do so bad those levels are ridiculously high. I test probably 6 to 8 times a day and correct several times a day with my insulin if they are too high. With keveks like that your son is going to end up very poorly indeed.
