    I often find eating very low/no carb after fasting can lower my sugars, if I miss breakfast and have chicken on its own for dinner it will drop my sugars

    My sugr app teamed with my accuchek mobile was bang on with my ha1 reading, I do test upto 10 times a day so guessing that's why it was accurate

    Yeah we don't go until April, seen some pictures from a few years back where people had mainly rice, then another with boiled potatoes and mash in the same meal?! If that's the case may as well stick with a normal meal where at least you have a bit of choice

    I've just stopped drinking for this reason tested 5.8 before I drank, had a small meal and 3 bottles of beer and it dropped to 2.8 this has happened 3 times now so have stopped drinking as the first time I woke up and was sick and blood sugar was down to 2.4
