I have got a solicitor and will follow their advice. I expect the diabetic aspect is probably unusual/rare for family law disputes which was why I thought of asking here for any common experience or advice

Thankyou all for your replies. It seems obvious after reading them, along with the thought that there are many successful diabetic parents out there, that there is no reason I should be treated like this.
