You are on Metformin which is the milder of the medications, if the doctor was that concerned you would be started on Gliclazide to bring the sugar down fast and then put on Metformin once it...

    Hi Willie I agree, far too many carbs. I wouldn't eat most of the foods you eat, i.e. Toast/bread, Tea biscuits. Ryvita Wholegrain Crackerbread, sandwiches, banana, chips, pie or Weetabix. I'd not touch any of these. I don't count carbs I just don't eat them.... no bread, potatoes, rice...
