Firstly I hope you are ok. Secondly, wayyyyyy too many carbs sweetie, rice, bread, pastry, chocolate. Killer combo babe. Time to cut the carbs drastically, its hard to start with, I'm doing it atm but it can be done. Take care of yourself

I want it all! Considering my last post was bemoaning that I can't get my bs down this seems a bit like a glutton for punishment post. Hit me with your suggestions for ANY low carb takeaway. I'm thinking large amounts of chargrilled chicken, zero chips or rice, wheat or gluten. Is kebab meat...

Its all going to hell in a handcart

Thank you SO much for all this, huge learning curve going on I can tell you. I dont have the side carbs very often but today I am going to weigh them out carefully and thoroughly enjoy them. I have allowed for them today so 100g will do it, its not much but enough. I'm going to look into the...

And have you noticed its ALWAYS the things you love most? For me, bread and pasta, love it but it not only knackers the bs, the wheat ruins my joints and the chronic pain is simply not worth it.I occasionally stick my nose in a breadbag and have a good sniff though, catnip for hoomans.

Hiya Jo, Yup you are right, I looked at my carbs and I average nearer 75 to 80g a day. I count total carbs only, anything else would lead to implosion I think. I have just found a soya yogurt in Aldi, the carbs are doable and I only want enough to cover my morning berries. My whole shopping...

Ooh thank you! I definately lean more towards protein high days, somewhat of a feat considering my old carb intake. Sadly its not so much the carbs in the yogurt as the milk. Is there a vegan yogurt I wonder....

Ooh thats interesting, no apples in the Aldi trolley tomorrow then! I am willing to try anything at this moment in time, I really miss bowls of yogurt and berries, I think that everything atm is taking credit in some way but will go down the berry only route too.

Its all going to hell in a handcart

Thanks Fenn, I will keep plugging on, just a tad frustrating at times. I am almost convinced that everything is tying everything together and if I could get the tennis ball in my chest and the very absent pregnancy (abdo spasms are identical to baby kicking! Weird and disconcerting to a...

My oat milk is GF and to be honest its the only one I can stomach. Fruitwise I eat most except the ones high in natural sugars, bananas, pineapple etc. Mostly apples, berries, plums.
