I was at the endo clinic today and my consultant said she needs a 24hr urine test for cortisone as I may have a different type diabetes than was originally thought I'm type 2 on insulin if anyone could explain I would be grateful

Hi Melissa wish I was on what you are lol my daily is metformin 1000 mg novorapid 12 units x 3 and lantus 16 units bedtime my bs is rarely in single numbers but on the rare occasions it does drop it hits the floor I wouldn't be frightened about the metformin rise though it may upset your tummy...

Hi Lorraine and welcome :) sorry to hear that you also have many health probs as well as diabetes there are lots of good ppl on this forum that will sort you out I'm not familiar with that app but I do know the carbs are way too high your sugars will be so high with that amount sorry I can't be...

Out of all the meters I have had I think the verio iq pen is the most painless one :)

Thank you Mo I will ask for that test and no Daibell not overweight few pounds but on an awful lot of medication thyroid stopped working and then diagnosed with diabetes but only with a blood test at the doctors have asthma,high blood pressure and a few other ailments all after the thyroid shut...
