    Back up to 11.2 this morning. Note to self: avoid yoghurt and/or currant buns. Probably the currants that did it.

    I've just carried out an additional check this evening (8.25 PM). I've not eaten anything since about 3PM. The reading was 7.2. I'm delighted as it's my best yet since I started testing about over 3 weeks ago.

    12.1 I thought it might be high as the savoury biscuits I ate yesterday evening contained a greater-than-expected sugar level. I should have checked first. Also, I can feel it within myself as I wake up feeling a little groggy (can't explain it better than that).

    13.0. Oh dear, wrong direction. I believe I know what caused it. It appears that even a small drop in dietary discipline can send my number up.

    10.2 this morning. My number seems to be highly sensitive to even the tiniest abberation. However, I can lose one third of my bodyweight so plenty of room for manoeuvre - and I'm still very new at this.

    10.0 this morning, but I have seen it steadily drop over the past ten days (from an initial 16.7). I did get it to 8.9 a few days ago. Onwards and downwards, along with the bodyweight.
