    Hi, iv just been told I'm type 2, my nurse is giving me a chance to change my diet, if I fail she will put me on metformin, one of my sons is type 1 so is his son (my grandson ). Both were told around the age of 18, my son is now 43 my grandson 21, both managing pretty well thank God,
