I'm type 2 but got complications from diabetes like neuropathy. Also i have sleep apnea, carpal tunnel, ibs and stuff. Could we get a section to discuss diabetic complications or other conditions we have to put with alongside our diabetes?

They should last longer than that! Then again depends how long it's been sitting in the pharmacy or gp's. was it issued by DSN or gp? If so ask them and they should provide spare batteries.

For all we moan about the NHS in this country we are bloody lucky to have it. How much it would cost us otherwise for care and treatment doesn't bare thinking about (in my opinion anyway)

New to insulin and not used syringes. Pens I find are very easy to use and convenient. A mate of mine always uses syringes and never tried pens. Think he enjoys the funny looks he gets when injecting.

You really need medical advice. If you can't speak to a DSN (do they have emergency duty nurse?) Then go with 111 and ask for advice. Sorry can't help further and best of luck
