I use a One Touch Verio IQ, I must say it's very good but charging it up is a bit of a pain sometimes, especially when your out.

My diet is so boring because I fear my BS rising, this is due to OCD. All I eat is during the week is porridge, soup, fruit and chicken, veg and steamed rice. My treat on a weekend is an omelette lol

I agree with iHs, I've been told your daily basal and bosal insulin amounts need to be virtually 50/50 for you to have stable BG readings. I only found this out a couple of months ago after consulting my Diabetic Nurse.

My highest level, which was when I was first diagnosed was 28 and my lowest has been 1.9 and I've quite a few hypos too, it's a good job I know when I'm low, pity my body couldn't tell me when I was really high too lol
