    5 a day now not counting correction doses as I split my basal dose ive learned the hard way as I rarely changed my needles years back and now suffer from uncomfortable and unsightly lipos in my stomach area

    Ive been type I for 28 years and like yourself only recently been having night hypos ive put it down to weight loss ive split my lantus dose in two half in evening and the other half at breakfast works fine for me

    Yep good point lucy I only use arms with small doses of insulin and only a few times a week the rest is in my poor legs and butt lol

    Same here it looks worse now ive lost around two stone its more noticable ive not injected in my stomach for about a year dsn said it would settle down but it doesnt seem to be getting any better

    Im on both aswel as as bendroflumethazide, amlodipine and four injections daily no probs with lisinopril but did have stomach probs wen first on metformin but like catherinecherub says i changed to slow release metformin no probs now
