    Thanks, I am really struggling with the diet side of things. Although I am not a big sweet eater, my diet consists mainly of potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. I have made switches to wholegrain/wholewheat and drastically cut down on portion sizes, but realise this may not be enough. Just struggle...

    Thank you all so much for the advice, has definitely put my mind at ease. Makes sense that if my body isn't used to the lower blood sugar, it would maybe throw a wobbler. I am waiting on a diabetes education course that I have been referred for, and have joined a weight management course...
