DN phoned this morning to tell me my HBa1c result was 58, so I have been put back on the list for knee surgery. She said it was a brilliant result :)

So, the results are in: it is in fact only 6 weeks since my last HBa1C, which was 75. I hoped to be under 69, so i could go back on the knee replacement list. I am thrilled that the latest reading is 58. Pat on the back for me :) I actually found the result on my patient app, no-one has phoned...

4.4 ..............and off for my HBa1C at 8.30. DN phoned from the hospital to see how I'm getting on and she was very happy with my recent figures. Hopefully, I'll get a better HBa1C than last times 75.........and if it's below 69, I go back on the knee replacement list. Fingers crossed please :)

5.7 this morning. Creeping up so need to keep an eye on things. Have an HBa1C test on Thursday morning, so will be interested to see if there is a change from the last one, which was 75.
