    advice please

    Hi, You should defo go and see your doctor,or go to a walk in centre. They can do a glucose test for you. They do a blood test then you drink a glucose drink and wait 2hrs and they test again. This will give a good reading of how your body deals with sugar etc Do any self tests in the morning...

    Going from 11.6 to 3.4

    Type 2 and Statins

    I was put on simvaststin but had problems with leg muscle cramps, upset stomach etc. After a few weeks changed to prinvastatin and did not get any side effects at all. You may not have any bad effects with simva. but if you do, try a different one. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Leg cramps & Metformin?

    I have type 2 and do not take Metformin as yet, but did get these leg cramps specificaly in the calves and feet. I was taking Simvastatins which also gave me other problems, so changed to Pravastatins. Since this change I have had no problems with these leg and foot cramps.
