Hi Katy, I'm currently 8+3 and my blood sugars didn't spike around implantation with this or my 1st pregnancy. Good Luck! x Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Arggghh Here we go again!

Just got my BFP at 12dpo :0) I'm over the moon but petrified! Already my levels are freaking me out. I'm so used to testing 2hrs post meals that my 1hour levels scare me. Whilst pregnant with my daughter, my consultant was happy for me to be within the range after 2hours but I'd really like to...

Hi - trying to conceive - still struggling with A1c

Yes, I agree with the above! My first pregnancy was totally normal. I managed ( with a lot of work) to have a pregnancy A1c of 5.5 and gave birth to Molly who was 7lb 10oz and suffered no ill effects from my diabetes. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

Hi - trying to conceive - still struggling with A1c

Hi, I'm 34 also, type 1 and trying to conceive again. My last Hba1c in January was far too high due to my laziness with testing but I'm confident it's now 6-7. Will have another blood test shortly. I'm sure your Hba1c at 7.5 won't prevent you from conceiving as long as you don't have any other...

15 weeks along, sudden good control..

Yeah the Internet can be very informative but scary at the same time. When are you actually due a scan? Could be related to the honeymoon period - maybe you are kicking out your own insulin at times? :-/ How have your levels been today? X Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

15 weeks along, sudden good control..

Hope you're feeling better today and have managed to avoid more lows today. Doesn't sound like you've over done it with the insulin, perhaps it's worth low carbing for a short time until your levels rise. We're you any more active yesterday evening? x Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

15 weeks along, sudden good control..

Hi, I didn't want to read and run. I can't offer much in the way of reassurance but hope you managed to speak with your DSN today. In my first pregnancy, I actually used less insulin than usual until I was 34 weeks! x Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    TTC after Miscarriage & scared...

Re: TTC after Miscarriage & scared... Hi, I'm Type 1, 34 and will be trying for #2 in the next few months. My Hba1c isn't quite good enough yet! I had my daughter in Jan 2010 and after a Dafne course, managed to have a pregnancy Hba1c of 5.5 :0) I was frequently worried about not being low...
