Got up much later today and sadly back into the 7.6 zone after carby dinner and my own undoing of a few holiday drinks. At least the sun is shining.

Tested early this morning 0400 as at airport and seeing a 5.9 reading. A good 2 hours before normal so not really representative but will take it anyway.

Still holding on to sixes at 6.7 and had my diabetic MoT yesterday. Waiting for Hba1c results with fingers crossed. Hope they don't call me back for a retest as off for a short break to Spain tomorrow and I know low carb diet will go to the wall.

A welcome 6.0 this morning but not a true result as tested at 5 am after a sleep deprived night owing to grandad duties and all night with a sleepy eye on the baby monitor. Looking forward to returning the brood to their rightful owners and getting a decent nights sleep.

7.8 today, did help grandkids out with easter eggs yesterday which was my only wobble from my diet and only a very small one at that. Sadly I am finding that is all it takes to push up the readings and ruin the daily average. However we have to live life despite everything.
