What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.9 on the cusp this morning. As usual readings all over the place despite consistent attention to carbs.

7.2 unhappy return to the sevens.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Just managed to creep back into 6's at 6.9. Daren't do a retest as it will no doubt have gone up once I am up and about. Take the small wins when they happen. Had to smile at the comments from @mojo37 regarding past dietary choices and becoming diabetic. I too am amazed at the way my BS shoots...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

7.2 for me, seems the 7's are my new morning norm for whatever reason, totally independent of previous days carb intake.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

7.1 this morning, has been better but then again has been worse.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Inexplicable 7.4 but my daily results have never been that consistent. Always depends on what time the daily rise starts, today it was a bit earlier, often wonder what influences this.

A reasonable 6.0 today and some sunshine too.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Inexplicable 7.7 this morning and no idea why the jump. I know it's not a dodgy test strip as Libre is consistently about 1 mmol below. Also slept great and ate sensibly but not reflected in bloods. Wonder what else is at play?

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Weird 5.4 this morning. Not sure why so low as about 65g carbs yesterday but take the lows when they turn up.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

7.4 on the roller coaster of unexplained results.

6.8 this morning, reasonable start to the day.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.6 grateful to see numbers down. Trouble is, so difficult to keep them down and live life especially as others have no concept of having to avoid or even limit carbs

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

7.5 probably still payback for an indulgence on Friday evening.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

7.3 today, a bit later testing than usual however bit of a carby lapse yesterday with meal and pub drinks so expected some payback.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.2 today. Quite surprised as well as pleased owing to succumbing to several Quality Street type sweets last night before bed which set off my high CGM alarm. Slept bad which may or not be related and expected much higher this morning. Naughty boy, let my guard down.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.3 reasonable level but back to dreary weather and rain.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.7 today. About average for me although low 5's on the CGM. Have always stuck to finger pricks ever since monitoring. Will continue to do so as cannot afford annual cost of CGM as well as test strips.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.9 this morning, still quite pleased as got up a couple of hours later than my usual and just managing to hold on to the sixes.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.2 a good start to the week for a change.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Similar to my daily routine. Libre shows the lowest 3 mmol at around 3AM then steady rise up to around 9 at 11AM. No way to influence this, fasting, diet or exercise no noticeable effect. Drops to around 6 in the afternoon with or without lunch. Every day the same, low carb foods tend to only...
