    Diabetes Burnout.

Thank you x I've spoken to my GP (he's who referred me to the MH services, who then referred me on to health and wellbeing ) and we've changed my antidepressants from sertraline to citalopram and seeing how it goes. Had a huge mh crash on Sunday, which I put down to my period unexpectedly...

My glucometer Betachek C50 just arrived. Yikes, I hope I get the hang of it.

No experience with it, but best of luck! I saw your libre/LO posts the other day and kept my fingers crossed you'd find a fingerprick monitor that works for you x

    Nocturnal hypoglycemia causing nightmares

Yep, I get this too. Normally nightmares about being out and about and not having insulin with me, weirdly enough. The most recent one was dreaming I'd gone to Glastonbury and someone nicked my tent with all my diabetes kit in it.

5 days with the Libre 2

Always check your low libre readings with a fingerprick, as you can get false low readings with a CGM.

    Diabetes Burnout.

Thanks @debs248 and @Hopeful34 I think I've got the transitional protection bit sorted out now, just waiting for them to deal with my housing element. Still beyond not managing the D word. I've got a constant background worry that if my basal's wrong then everything else is going to be out of...

Looks like transitional protection has gone out the window and my benefits are going to be about £200/month lower. Opened my post and found out...

Type 2s who use a CGM

1: 6.3 2: 6.5 Not sure how reliable these are, as I've had a few sensors that have been wildly out.

Question to Diabetes UK: Could I let DUK have the login for my Freestyle Libre CGM for comments?

If you use the libre phone app rather than a reader, could you post screenshots of your graphs instead, or alternatively (if you use a reader) screenshots from the libre view website? Not sure I'd be comfortable putting login details for anything onto a public site.

    Hypo unawareness

Did you check with a fingerprick test? You can sometimes get false low readings on a CGM.

Not sure about other brands, but libre can give you a reader device if you don't have a compatible phone.
