Just to add, porridge this morning really screwed me over too

6.5 this morning which I am pleased with. Started Gliclazide last Friday and the read then was 8.3. This week I have learned that pasta has been my biggest enemy, sadly as I love Italian food, breaks my heart to say goodbye to spaghetti. Will see how I manage with a smaller portion next week .

Hi all, 7.8 this morning which I thought was good compared to yesterday's 8.3 then I read what everyone else is at lol. All a new process for me though, so room for improvement

Thanks very much for some useful tips. Nice idea re morning Vs afternoon. This week I'm taking with breakfast so will reverse it next week and possibly start taking slightly before meal and increasing the gap between tablet and meal.

Hi, I've been lurking for a few years, now on Gliclazide 40mg daily. Reducing carbs, would you recommend taking Gliclazide with breakfast or the most carb meal of the day? For me my carbs tend to be evening meal. Thanks in advance
