Hi......I was on 2 then 4 but was still having a blood test of 8.2 On 2 I had few side effects but on 4 I found I needed to be dashing off to the toilet a lot more urgently and frequently... Might have been worth it if it had brought my blood test down by more than .2 Now trying 3 a day plus...

Afternoon everyone... Starting taking Saxagliptin 5 days ago, and reduced my Metformin from 4 a day to 2. So far I don't seem to be seeing any results...infact my bg seems to have gone up! I'm assuming this is because of the reduction of Metformin. Does the Saxagliptin begin to work immediately...
