    Hi!, sounds very similar, I haven't posted in a while, thought I'd let you all know, I did drop my Lantus dosage from 16 untis to 12, took 3-4 days for it to adjust and since I'm not waking up with morning hypos! and only have one hypo once a week, when I used to have about 2 every day.

    That makes sense, because when I wake up, my heart's racing, like for example when you don't hear your alarm go off and you wake up in a panic, that sort of feeling. So yea it could be a release of adrenalin, makes sense now. So does my basal need to be decreased? Thanks by the way :D

    If your bg levels goes below 4.0 it is classed as a hypo, did you feel any symptoms? such as trembling, confusion or eyes going funny, if so these will come along with a low bg level. That is exactly what you're supposed to do! :D, orange juice works perfect :). Ahh sorry to hear about that...
