    Continuous Glucose Monitor

Is there a way to buy a supply of CGM devices for less than £98 a month? The CGM has transformed management of my diabetes. My health is greatly improved and HbA1c is halved in 6 months. But I can't afford to buy more and they are not available on script. Anyone got a cheaper source than...

Lowest price supply of CGM or financial support

Can anyone tell me the cheapest CGM system I can get. I'm currently using Abbott Libre 2 which is £49 a fortnight. I can't afford this beyond next month so I'm looking for something cheaper. I'm Type 2 on 2mg Metformin aiming to keep control through diet alone. Thanks for your thoughts.

    Availability of Rybelsus

Yes Rybelsus is a once a day tablet. There are side effects. The advice I was given by my Diabetes nurse was all semaglutide meds REQUIRE a life style change for it to work without difficult side effects. When I follow the "lifestyle changes" I have no issues. Eat smaller quantities at each meal...

    Availability of Rybelsus

Me too. I have 5 days left and no prospect if any more. Rybelsus has been brilliant for me. My BG is down from a regular 10, 12,13 to 5.5 - 6.5 ! I have energy, concentration and awake! I'm really fearful of what will happen when in 5 days .... I don't want to lose the wellbeing I now have.

Have you been told not to test your blood sugars?

I completely agree. It is a scandal that is causing people to become sicker, quicker and be without the CENTRAL mechanism for TAKING CONTROL OF OUR HEALTH. I've been told more than once by health professionals that I don't need to test. The culture of health professionals is to take control of...

Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.4 this morning down from an average of 8! That's the lowest it's ever been since I was diagnosed 4 years ago. This achievement is entirely due to me controlling my carb intake. No more than 8g -10g per meal and no more than 40g a day.
