I was told I had autonomic neuropathy about a year ago. Its horrible and my consultant has warned me that it is irreversible and life limiting. If anyone could advise me of how they cope or what treatment they have I would be so grateful.
Unfortunately, I have a generalised neuromuscular disease, and even making a fist is difficult. I can splurge in a pool but can no longer swim, I just float around!
Ok. Thanks to this forum I now know what to call my diabetes. I had type 2 for many years and treatment was attempted using Victosa. I was unfortunate in that it gave me pancreatitis and I have been what I have called 'type 1' since. But now I know better!! Hello fellow Type 3Cers!
I was featured in the programme. Channel 4 contacted me after diabetes uk asked the question 'Has anyone had any side effects from diabetes medication' on their Facebook page. I have type two diabetes. Victosa gave me pancreatitis. Consequently I am now insulin dependent.
